JPMC goes smoke free on January 1, 2010

Mayfield, KY (December 2, 2009). For the health of our patients and visitors, Jackson Purchase Medical Center will become a smoke free campus, effective January 1, 2010.  While we are not asking anyone to quit smoking, we are asking that you refrain from smoking while you are on our campus. Our campus includes the Hospital, the Medical Office Building, the Medical Pavilion and all entrances, exits and parking lots on the campus.

This is an important step towards our goal of providing a safe and healthy environment for patients and visitors.

If you are interested in help with smoking cessation, we will offer the Cooper Clayton Class beginning on January 11, 2010 at 4:30 pm in the hospital's Community Conference Room. Please call 270-251-4120 or 270-247-1490 for more information or to register for the class.
